ドキュメントや、マニュアルに記載する際には、以下を使用。
RFCにより、サンプル用のドメインが用意されている。

top level domain (TLD) が必要なとき。

            .test
         .example
         .invalid
       .localhost

Reserved Example Second Level Domain Names

セカンドレベルのドメインの例。

       example.com
       example.net
       example.org

ちなみに example.co.jp は、 JPRS WHOIS /JPRS で調べると、以下の様に表示されました。
